A fishing app can hold some of an angler’s most sensitive information: catch locations, photos, species, sizes, notes, tags and a history of productive spots. FishLock is designed so that this information stays on your own phone.
Species, size, notes, locations, tags and other catch details are not shared as part of a FishLock cloud account, because FishLock does not require a cloud account in the first place.

FishLock has adapted the Fishial AI model to run locally on your phone. The fish photo does not need to be sent to a remote identification service before FishLock can return a species result.
That on-device design also allows fish identification to work without internet access. In testing, FishLock’s species identification averaged over 98% accuracy across a 426-species catalogue.
